Just had my second eye done for Cataracts & laser. I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Patel explained my options & I was on my way to eliminating glasses after 26 years. Her staff has been extremely helpful & the two Ofc. locations are easy to access. Her knowledge & professionalism are a “win win” for any patient. I highly recommend Dr. Patel.

I had cataract surgery with Dr. Patel. My eyes and vision are now wonderful. She has excellent management skills, and a clear, concise communication style. Her office is managed with a deep respect for COVID guidelines, which means a lot to me. It was refreshing to meet a confident, skilled doctor, who is a team player.

Dr. Patel is an extremely talented eye surgeon and very thorough in researching best options for patients to see as best as they can. I have severe myopia and I was referred to Dr. Patel for ICLs (I was not a candidate for any other eye improvement surgery). I couldn't believe I could see without wearing glasses! 8 years later I developed cataract in one eye. Dr. Patel researched all the lens options for me- I was going to go with the most expensive one, but Dr. Patel wanted to make sure due to my eye irregularities and it turned out that the mono lens was be the best fit for my eye (which happened to be the one covered completely by my insurance). I had my cataract surgery just over a week ago and I am seeing 20/20 again! By Dr. Patel's reaction at my post op, she was just as happy as I was. I'm probably the worst adult patient due to severe anxiety over medical procedures, and Dr. Patel calmly talks me through it and makes sure there are helpers to hold my hand. Love her.

Dr Patel has performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. I have found her advise, as to when it's appropriate to have the surgery, to be both informative and comforting. I could not be happier with the results. (I opted for the laser and monovision.) She is a doctor that you can have confidence in.

In almost 30 years living in the US and seeing quite a few doctors, I can honestly say that Dr. Patel is the most inconsiderate and the visit to her office was the most disappointing. After waiting in her waiting room for almost 2 hours, she spent less than 5 minutes with me. No apology for the wait! Not from her, not from her staff. She was probably tired since I was the last patient that day. But that’s not an excuse for being inattentive and so quick that I barely had a chance to talk to her. Felt absolutely cheated when I was told that I owe $130 for the visit. For less than 5 minutes!!! If that wasnt enough, yesterday received another bill, for $61! Oh, and by the way (small thing, I know), bill cannot be paid online and there is no return envelope included.

Dr. Patel refused to write my wife a note to her employer as a school bus driver when there was a complication after her procedure which causes a shadow and bad glare. Dr. Patel was angry the procedure took 24 minutes instead of 21. My wife was fired due to job abandonment for lack of note, losing income and her health care! Her waiting room is packed and people wait quite a bit, oftentimes. Her patients are cattle to make money off of. She is unprofessional.

Dr Patel seemed ok during our visit but now I feel either their office staff is incompetent or the billing person is extremely greedy. We were referred by PCM to see eye doctor and paid co-pay at that time only. However after the visit and a year later we received a notice from debt collectors with a notice to put it as a debt on credit reports. would not recommend this doctor to any friends/family to this doctor who have insurance and suggest others to report their experience.

She wrote me out a worthless prescription and I paid after the check up. The follow up ophthalmologist that called her office to correct it, suggested that I file suit. Evidently that is illegal. She sent me an incorrect bill ignoring what I paid her on my VISA card. Instead of correcting it after multiple phone calls and mailing her paper work showing her the mistake, she turned it over to a collection agency. Time to file in court. Please go elsewhere.

She gave my son a very strong prescription. I took him to another doctor because I know that his prescription was wrong and surprise! it was very, very strong more than what he needed. Also the waiting time at the Vienna office was more than an hour.

Wish I could leave a negative 10! I've HAD IT! After 2-3 years of seeing Dr. Patel--despite overbooking, horrendous wait times, lack of adequate seating in the waiting area, and an expensive eye mask that broke and couldn't be returned--this is the FINAL STRAW. My need for a prescription refill is being HELD HOSTAGE by the insistence that I come in for an annual exam when it's still several weeks before the one-year point. My insurance company won't like that any more than I do. BEWARE!
