Difficulty with office staff
Dr. Seth is very knowledgeable, listens, and is easy to work with, but it is difficult working with the office staff. When you call the office, there are long hold times and they do not return phone call messages. I am leaving his practice due to the office staff.

Dr. Seth is fantastic! He genuinely cares for his patients, which is hard to find in a doctor these days. The practice is getting a little busy these days but he tries his best to convey that he cares. I highly recommend him to anyone. That said, the office staff and Nurse Practitioners are hit and miss. The majority of them seem to be on a power trip and are rather rude when you contact them via phone. Some of them are excellent people so it’s not all bad but some seem to get off on saying no to people on the smallest things. One NP would actually boast about how she liked to laugh at patients going through withdrawals if their appointment got delayed or had insurance issues at the pharmacy (her name was Emily but I’m not sure if she is still with this group). Things like this make it very clear who is in it for the money and who’s a decent human & cares for their patients. My advice, stay away from the NPs and just see Dr. Seth, who cares about what his patients are going through.

We see Sandy Gallow and she is a blessing. We have known her for years and she knows us. We are not a number to her and she never looks at her watch when talking to us (Dr Seth). The issue with this office is not the doctors but some of the staff. they use their little bit of authority to be rude knowing the patient and their caregivers have no recourse. because of this COVID, we have to make 2-week appntmnts not four weeks. I called and receptionist shut me up when I was explaining why I was calling said "Patient's Birthdate!". i know they need to know it, but it was a bark."oh you saw the Doctor on this day so you have to wait 31 days." and said it is such a sharp rude way it was obvious she was looking to provoke hoping she could, if she got an angry response, to then to threaten the patient. This receptionist took it upon herself to decide the patient could go for two weeks without meds. We called someone else and got it fixed but this is a issue at this office.

Is see Carmen every 4 weeks. She is a PA. She does a good job of coordinating my Medications. She recently prescribed a new muscle relaxer for me that works better than any others I have been prescribed. I see Dean a Chiropractor once or twice a week in this same office. I always have significant relief for almost 24 hours after his treatments. I would suggest seeing him also. All of the employees and Medical Assistants I have encountered at the 19th Ave. office are polite and professional. I can tell this practice genuinely cares about my welfare.

I've been seeing Dr. Seth, or his other Docs, for several years now & have always been treated kindly, w/ the sort of dignity, respect & care I think we all expect will be the case when we see a Doc for whatever reason. Unfortunately, (& sadly), that isnt always the case, as a lot of doctors just dont care about the people. Maybe theyre there just for the $, I dont know. But Ive had that experience w/ other Docs Ive seen in the past (not for back/pain, but for other issues), so its very comforting to know that Dr. Seth, & the teams he puts together at his offices, all seem to follow the same values of how to treat people in need of help by providing a standard of care that proves he really believes in what he says in his promo videos & it feels like he really does this for a living because he genuinely wants to help people. For that & for giving me back some of the quality of life that my pain stole from me, I am eternally grateful. (& Bobbi Jo is great, BTW). Thank you.
