Nicole Fowler, MD is a University Hospitals Head & Neck Surgeon whose focus is providing the top care for her patients. She joined the faculty in 2014 and is an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She earned a bachelor of science at the University of Notre Dame with honors. Dr. Fowler achieved her MD at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine winning the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award for her compassion and commitment to patient care. She attended the Cleveland Clinic for her internship and residency in Otolaryngology (ENT). Following this she completed her Head & Neck Oncology and Microvascular Surgery fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. She is board certified in Otolaryngology.

Dr. Fowler's passion is Head & Neck cancer which includes all areas of the Head & Neck – mouth, nose/sinus, throat, salivary glands, thyroid gland and skin. Her expertise includes both cancer removal as well as microvascular reconstruction with her focus being the rehabilitation and restoration of function in these complex cases. She also provides craniofacial trauma reconstruction. Dr. Fowler enjoys teaching her patients, medical students and residents and is actively engaging in head & neck research. She joined the faculty at University Hospitals because her mission models that of the hospital "To Heal. To Teach. To Discover."
