I've seen Dr. Canaley for years, I loved her she was the most caring and trustworthy psychiatrist. Even in our short sessions I felt more heard then I ever had before in my years of mental health care experiences. She's an amazing doctor and a great person would highly recommend.

Dr. Canaley is a genuine and effective psychiatrist. I saw her for four years and she listened to me, cared and asked about the things that were important to me and was patient with me even when I questioned/stopped taking meds. She helped me and we did eventually find something that both helped and I was willing to take. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a psychiatrist---especially for teens/young adults who may need a bit more in the way of patience and compassion.

It took us 4 months to get our initial appointment...which was cancelled due to Dr. Canaley wanting Halloween off (according to her own staff). We were rescheduled for 14 November at 10 am. At 8:30 on the 14th my husband received a TEXT...not even a call...stating that our appointment has been cancelled and to call to reschedule. When we called we were told that the staff wasn't aware that the doctor was not coming in that day...despite having appointments on the books.

She would be more appreciated if we make appointments and not be constantly cancelled. Then making the new appointment further in the year. My grandson needs the appointments closer together and not constantly cancelled

Dr Canaley treated 8yo for about 6 mos. The 2nd drug she tried required regular blood testing and dose changes until the correct dose was found. After starting the drug and first blood test, Dr Canaley went MIA. Her nurse's voice mail was full for days, I eventually reached the nurse by calling random extensions. Dr Canaley was sick, no one was covering for her, and no one knew when she'd be back. This continued for weeks. Dr Canaley never once followed up with us. We found a new Dr quickly.
