Accepting new patients
My favorite part of being an orthopedic doctor is helping people. When a patient comes into my office, I take the time to find out the best way to help them. It's important to me that each of my patients is okay with the treatments they're going to move forward with. It's usually not surgery, but sometimes it is. I specialize in the hand and upper extremity area of the body. I chose this part of orthopedics because I love solving puzzles and other complex problems. I have a background in sports and I'm also a musician, so I really understand the nuances of the hand, wrist, and elbow areas...what they're supposed to be able to do and feel like. The training and experience I bring is better than most. I was fellowship trained in a prestigious hand program, and I have years of experience and stay current on the developments in medicine and in my specialty.
I'm board certified and have completed the prestigious University of Florida—Shands Hospital Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery Fellowship. It's this training and all the years of experience in practice that make me a respected expert in my field. I stay up to date on new technologies and treatments so that patients always know they can trust me to give them the most current information and advice.
