Dr. Osborne is a board-certified vascular surgeon who specializes in the treatment of vascular disease, including both traditional open and complex endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysm disease, carotid disease, peripheral arterial disease, and dialysis access. As a member of the faculty of the University of Michigan, he is dedicated to providing the best possible care for all patients. He is also a staff surgeon at the Ann Arbor Veteran's Affairs Hospital. He is an active researcher, investigating variation in the quality of care for vascular disease across the country and has authored papers in JAMA and the New England Journal of Medicine. As a surgeon, he is a caring, compassionate and patient advocate for the patient and family.

Dr. Osborne treats the spectrum of vascular disease affecting the arteries of the body form the largest (aorta) to the smallest (pedal arteries). As a board certified vascular surgeon, he believes in treating not only the patient requiring surgery, but also medical management of their vascular disease.

Dr. Osborne specializes in treating vascular disease with both traditional open surgery and minimally invasive "endovascular" surgery. He has specific expertise in complex endovascular repairs including, thoracic and abdominal aortic endovascular aneurysm repair, fenestrated aneurysm repair, visceral angioplasty/stents, complex peripheral artery interventions and  SAFARI. He also has significant experience with open surgical procedures, including, open abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, thoraco-abdominal aoritc aneurysm repair, visceral bypass, aortic graft explantation, carotid surgery, lower extremity bypass and amputations.
