Our experience: This doctor, while very pleasant, it not at all proactive. In addition, if you want information about your condition, including treatment options and prognosis, you will have to work hard to get him to be forthright. Meanwhile, please get a second opinion. We could have paid dearly in terms of health deficits - or worse - had we not gone to one of the top neurosurgeons i in the country.

Dr. Blondin is wonderful. I can’t recommend him highly enough. He is the most caring, compassionate doctor I have ever treated with. When he takes you on as a patient you truly are his patient and he is there for you when you need him. He’s truly the kind of doctor people wish for. I travel over an hour to see him; he’s worth it.

As a new patient, I waited two months to get an appointment. I arrived at my appointment on time and waited 90 minutes to see Dr. Blondin as I was pushed aside by a "drop-in" patient who did not need urgent care. The staff lied to me about that drop-in seeing another Dr. When Dr. Blondin finally came in he arrogantly told me things happen and justified his decision by sharing that patient's medical history in violation of HIPPA.

Get this! Dr. Blondin solved a longterm medical issue I've been dealing with that neurologists in both NYC and CT were baffled by. Not Dr. Blondin. He nailed it in less than 10 minutes, and with a manner that was both informed, informative and personable. (What a smile!) I am very grateful to add him to my healthcare team!!!!

Brother was diagnosed with brain tumor and passed 12 months after initial diagnosis. Dr. Blondin was accessible not only to him but to us who lived in another state. His compassion and eagerness to try difference treatments was unwavering. The experimental treatments he tried were heroic, even if they did not work for him. He always took as much time as we needed to answer questions. A blessing!

Dr. Blondin is an amazingly brilliant and compassionate physician. My husband suffered 2 strokes and I credit this doctor as being one of his saviors. Not only did he provide excellent care for my husband but he kindly took the time to talk to me and explain what was going on and answer my questions. I would recommend him to anyone. Truly one of the best neurologists and a genuinely nice person.

Dr. Blondin is kind, clear, and helpful. It is easier to go to the doctor when I am not terrified of being scolded, after a lifetime of mean doctors, and Dr. Blondin has made the experience so much better!!
