Patient satisfaction ratings and reviews are based on personal opinions. Before you choose any doctor you should take into account their background, training, specialized experience AND their patient satisfaction to ensure they are the right fit for you.
I am a regional medical director for Duke Urgent Care and am board-certified in both family medicine and undersea and hyperbaric medicine. I split my time between clinical practice and administrative responsibilities and I have a passion for improving health care delivery to optimize patient access education and outcomes. Prior to joining the Duke medical staff I was the chief medical officer and CEO of Divers Alert Network and an internationally recognized expert on diving injuries accidents and medical treatment. Outside of work I enjoy traveling and diving the warm waters of the world. I've been a PADI SCUBA instructor for more than 25 years. I also enjoy reading Clive Cussler novels cooking and golfing when time permits. I live in Durham with my wife Kim. We have three children a grandson and a crazy Jack Russell terrier.Read more
