Dr. Dourron specializes in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and robotic surgery for myomectomy, endometriosis and tubal ligation reversal. Originally a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Dr. Dourron moved to Atlanta at age 7 where he graduated from Woodward Academy. He obtained a B.S. degree in Microbiology from the University of Georgia and earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency training at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
Prior to returning to Atlanta, Dr. Dourron practiced Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at HRC Fertilityin Newport Beach, California. His (medical) interests include Endometriosis, Unexplained Infertility, Recurrent Pregnancy Loss and Assisted Reproductive Technologies. He have been providing robotic surgery since 2006. He specializes in robotic myomectomy for fibroids, Tubal reversals and Endometiosis. Dr. Dourron has been designated a Center of Excellence Surgeon in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery ( COEMIG) by The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Dr. Dourron is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of numerous medical societies, including Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI) and American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). Dr. Dourron served as the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach, California.
