West Chester, PA |
His surgery staff let me go home after performing sinus surgery even after I could not urinate. I could not urinate at home and had to go to a medical clinic where they removed 1100 cc of urine. Hockstein took no responsibility and said it was just a bump in the road. I was home for 2 weeks when I should have only missed a few days. Doc Is arrogant, obnoxious and acts like he can walk on water. I would never recommend this man to anyone.

Phenomenal surgeon. My husband had a right tongue base cancer with a positive lymph node. In 2005, Dr. Hockstein was a principal investigator in the development of TORS procedure. He was very instrumental in development of this now standard of care. A minimally invasive surgical technique for the treatment of base of tongue neoplasms using the optical and technical advantages of robotic surgical instrumentation. He knew my husbands mouth was to small for the use of the robot, but he did it!!!!
Dr. Hockstein is great. I am very surprised by all of the negative reviews. Yes, the wait time can be a little long sometimes. But that is something you have to deal with if you want to see an exceptional doctor. He is friendly and very knowledgable. He clearly knows his stuff. He is more than willing to answer questions and he wants the best for the patient. I've been to him at least 10 times and he performed my sinus surgery. Overall, he's a great doctor and I would definitely recommend him.

The man is a genius. His skill using the Da Vinci surgical robot is unsurpassed. He literally saved my life and did such a great job I didn?t need chemo or radiation for my throat cancer.
in Thorofare, NJ |
Somewhat sarcastic, asked a few questions but didn't listen to responses, more of a formality. Acted as though he was rushed or disinterested.Attitude seemed to be that he has enough patients and he can pick and choose so find another surgeon. Will put up with Philadelphia traffic and paying to park again rather than return to him. Can't believe that an overwhelmingly positive review was an actual patient.
Newark, DE |
He was in a huge hurry, dismissive, pompous and arrogant. He basically dismissed and my concerns.
