Dr. Uduma's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Uduma "Child and adolescent psychiatrist Ndukwe Uduma, MD, explains his professional approach to patient care: "We want to sort out the problems, try to solve those we can and set up services to help those we can't change or remove. Our goal is for children to be able to accomplish the main tasks of acquiring skills and knowledge to prepare them for tomorrow." Dr. Uduma is a board-certified psychiatrist who did his psychiatric residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychology at Brookdale University Hospital & Medical Center, both in New York. Prior to that, he was a general physician in his native country of Nigeria. Now he's eager to become a Texan and to practice at the ETMC Behavioral Center in Tyler. "When I came to visit, I was so impressed. I thought, 'This is my idea of a place to make a career.'""
