Dr. Akhtar patiently spent over 30 minutes discussing my treatment options. Thanks to his treatment I am back to playing tennis without pain! If you want a caring and compassionate physician, which is not always easy to find in a busy surgeon, go see Dr. Akhtar!
I found Dr. Akhtar to be very knowledgeable and kind. I trusted his advice for caring for my injury, and now my knee is fully healed. I would definitely recommend him.

Terrible after care, made me leave my bandages for over 5 weeks, wouldn't listen to my complaint of pain after the recovery time, said the pain was all in my head. He flat out lied about being able to find out where the pain was coming from. I have had to have another Doctor fix his mess and found out indeed there was actually a tumor (neuroma) in my need causing the pain. He treated me in a demeaning fashion, please find another doctor that offers after care and takes an interest in healing.
