I asked when I made my apt if the doctor had Residents/PA's/NP's and was told no. I indeed saw a NP who did my assessment and was never asked if this was ok. I was not impressed with the assessment. After she left, they both came back in and he spent 5 minutes with me. They both obviously did not want to be there or listen to anything I had to say. I paid to see the doctor, not a NP. In addition, I left with no written discharge instructions. Will not be back.

Dr. Melton was "my orthopedic Dr." here in Kansas City. He performed several surgeries (unlucky situations on my part, but happy to have him as my surgeon) . I was very sad that he left the area, but I know that his new patients are guaranteed the Best of the Best. Robin Campbell, Kansas City MO

Simply don't know how I would be functioning without the excellent care of Dr. Melton and his staff. Age has never been a factor in the care and treatment he has performed. I have diabetes and because of it, one ulcer after another. He tirelessly treats me. I know I would never find another doctor with the compassion he has shown. I often wonder how it was possible for me to be so lucky in having him as my doctor.

Dr melton listened carefully to my explaination of pain and range of motion (shoulder injury) before making an decision on where we go from here. I found him to be on time with sweet staff and very knowledgeable. He took the time to hear me out but did not waste time. My kind of dr.
