I love Dr. Eisen; she's always so friendly and nice! I'm an alcoholic. I understand that it's important for my doctors to know this in order to treat me effectively, but it's tough to be honest when you feel judged. I've always been honest with Dr. Eisen about it, and she's been encouraging me for years to get into rehab or somehow find a way to quit drinking. Never did she ever make me feel judged or shamed; whenever we discuss my drinking, the only thing I see from her is empathy, caring, and concern. I took my last drink two days ago, due to health problems it was causing, as COVID isolation had me drinking a LOT more than ever before. I am so grateful to have a doctor who understands that alcoholism is a health issue, NOT a moral issue!

Dr. Eisen is an outstanding physician. I know she is busy (because of her wait list), but whenever I see her I feel like I am her only priority for her entire day. She is compassionate, attentive, understanding, practical, and very knowledgeable. She always takes the time to explain possible treatments, which one she recommends for your specific situation, and why. You may have to wait in the waiting room for a few minutes, but keep in mind that that's because she is not rushing her patients. I highly recommend her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Eisen's on and off for about 6 years, and my mother was a patient of hers for many years before that. I am FTM transgender, which means that finding quality, trans-competent healthcare is a significant challenge for me. Unlike some doctors I have had, I have never had to educate Dr. Eisen about trans issues. At a routine physical about a year ago, it was determined that a pap smear was medically indicated for me. Her approach was very compassionate. She understood without me saying that this would likely be a very dysphoric and uncomfortable experience for me, and made the procedure as quick and easy as possible under the circumstances. She even made sure to emphasize that I could refuse the pap smear if I wanted to, but that she highly recommended getting one. Over a year later this is still one of the most trans-competent healthcare experiences I have ever had, particularly outside of a practice which specializes in trans health. I highly recommend her!

I worked in the medical field for a number of years, and based on that experience, I am comfortable stating that Dr. Eisen is, overall, an excellent doctor. Her knowledge and expertise are readily apparent, as is her ability to be present, listen, and relate to her patient. The current business model for medicine puts enormous stressors and constraints on doctors, that create multiple barriers, including very limited patient time. Dr. Eisen is negotiating these barriers that negatively impact the practice of medicine, with skill and grace. I respect the effort that takes on her part. We could all be "processed" quickly, and sent out the door. That is not the experience you will have with Dr. Eisen. I recommend her.

I just love Dr. Eisen, she is super understanding and really takes the time to make sure you get the care that's best for you. I am moving but will definitely keep her as my primary doctor even though it will be out of the way now. She knows her stuff and is also very cost conscious about the medications she prescribes.
