I had to leave Dr. Nahmi Lee’s office mid-way through our first appointment and immediately cried outside the building. We were never loud or rude when speaking with each other (rather, we both acknowledged each other’s underlying kindness before I left), but it was clear that, as a gay man, I was not safe or respected under her care. Dr. Lee’s bible was open on her desk in front of her through the entire interaction in the examination room. One of the final things she said to me, as I was putting on my coat and holding back tears, was that I was bigoted for not accepting her religious views or believing in science that didn’t tell me what I want to hear. Dr. Lee’s understanding of science, her role as a medical professional and her levels of compassion are proudly and indignantly influenced by her religious bias. As a matter of health and safety, I do not recommend her to other LGBTQ+ people - or anyone.

Dr. Namhi Lee is currently my PCP (family Doctor) and had 3 separate visits at her office.I found myself lucky to meet a Doctor with full western practice and also an expert in the Eastern approach as well. It's like having a second opinion without leaving your doctors office. There is no elaborate phone system in order to contact her about any matter, she answers all calls (and text), for me, it was the easiest to schedule an my appointment (probably in the past 7 years). She was very generous  with the time spent in my visits, which was way beyond the average norm of 15-20 mins.  Her knowledge extends to nutrition, exercise and alternate medicine approach as well. I highly recommend Dr. Namhi Lee to anyone who is open to more than the standard American Physician.Daniel Kaly

I have been a patient of Dr. Lee's for an extended period of time and after 28 yrs of full contact karate, she has been the only MD able to help me. Dr. Lee fixed and rehabbed my back issues, so that not only could I get to work each morning but also able to train consistently. Dr. Lee was also able to help my tennis elbow in both arms w/therapy in the office, as well as, provide daily exercises to keep the inflammation under control, where as every other doctor prescribed surgery asap.

She gave me a lecture about god and praying which took half of the time I spent in Dr. Lee's clinic. All I wanted was my annual physical exam. I didnt feel comfortable at all because of this I don't plan on going back. The only reason I went there was because my insurance listed her as my PCP.
