Within the past two years, I've had two hip surgeries by Dr. Nassif. It's difficult to find the words to express the gratitude I have for Dr. Nassif and the staff at Newport Orthopedic Institute. Between the two surgeries I had several months of physical therapy during which I had the opportunity to interact with many people going through rehab that shared similar experiences with Dr. Nassif. …" A top notch surgeon that has unbelievable compassion for his patients" …. To Dr. Nassif and the Newport Orthopedic Institute Staff … Thank you....You've changed my life....

Honestly, the most inept group I've ever dealt with. They are either too busy to care or don't care. They were unable to coordinate an MRI, requiring me to sit in the waiting room for 1 hour before apologizing and having me reschedule for two weeks later. On the rescheduled appointment the entire order was not sent over, causing another delay. After one week I called to ask about results and they said you "normally schedule a follow up visit" when you have your MRI. Nobody ever asked nor said anything. He may be an OK doctor (we've never met) but his staff, while pleasant, is critically inept.

I had a knee replacement in February 2019 with Dr. Nassif at Hoag in Irvine. No one wants to have surgery, but the entire experience was five stars. The doctors, nurses, and everyone involved with my care would get 10 stars if I had the option, and on top of that it was outpatient. The company that they used for home care, Sea Crest, would also get five stars. Even my scar looks amazing six weeks out. I would highly recommend Dr. Nassif.

Dr. Nassif saved our 17 year old daughter's life. He diagnosed her bone cancer at the earliest stage possible and then aggressively treated her cancer. His care was above and beyond anything we could of imagined. We quickly grew to trust him and follow his direction. As of today our daughter 1 year cancer free and it has everything to do with Dr. Nassif's care both professionally and personally.

I would recommend Dr. Nassif to anyone needing a hip replacement. He performs the anterior approach which makes recovery much faster. I’m 2 weeks post op and walking mostly without even a cane.

The staff here is very rude. The literally insulted me to my face I then received a call from Dr. Nassif himself who attempted to insult and berate me. I explained to him that this was not his place to which he responded with childish pseudo threats about him not treating me. He's a an idiot as well as his staff apparently.

I had my hip replaced by another doctor. I went to Dr. Nassif for a second opinion. From the minute I met him until the day he assisted my doctor in the revision of my hip replacement he was fully invested. Even though I am not his patient, he treated me as if I was. I am so thankful that Dr. Nassif took my case under his wing and cared for me as one of his own patients. I would refer Dr. Nassif to everyone that I know! Knowledgeable, caring, professional, and goes above and beyond!
