I am presently a patient of Dr. Ugurlo in Sharon Hospital and have to say I am so impressed with him. He is so genuinely kind and seems to care about me as a whole person and not just a medical diagnosis. I am in recovery from opiate addiction and have had to be put on pain meds while here. I was honest with him from the beginning and was so pleasantly surprised and grateful for his understanding of addiction and willingness to help me through this journey. Not all doctors are so approachable.

I was taken to the CHH emergency room and had to have emergency abdominal surgery. He was my surgeon and he literally saved my life. I am going to be 70 next month and my husband is 75. We are both grateful and always will be for the expertise and kindness of this wonderful doctor. The last time I saw him, I even told him, if I had ever had a son, I would hope that he would be like this wonderful doctor. I thank him everyday for the time he gave me to spend with my kids and grandchildren.
