This content was provided by Dr. Manoharan "MurugesanManoharan, MD, FRCS, FRACS (Urol) Dr. Manoharan is the Chief of Urologic Oncology and Director of Robotic Urologic Surgery at the prestigious Miami Cancer Institute, Baptist Health South Florida. He previously served as a tenured professor of Urology and director of Urologic Oncology Fellowship Program at the University of Miami, Florida. He is a leader in the field of urologic oncology, specializing in robotic, laparoscopic and complex open cancer procedures. He is a board certified, fellowship trained urologist. He is an expert in performing Robotic radical prostatectomy and robotic kidney surgery. He is an international leader in the field of bladder cancer and artificial Neobladder reconstruction. Dr. Manoharan was featured in NBC nightly news for being one of the first surgeons in the country to perform robotic radical cystectomy and neobladder reconstruction using a pfannenstiel incision. He is well known for performing complex surgical procedures such as Ileal ureter constructions, various lymph node dissections for genitourinary malignancies. In addition to his clinical accolades, Dr. Manoharan has been integral to the advancement of urological cancer treatment. He has won the "Best Urology Teacher of the Year Award" on multiple occasions. He has served as a member on the International Bladder Cancer Guidelines committee organized by the WHO and SIU. Dr. Manoharan has authored more than 130 scientific articles and 15 text book chapters, apart from delivering several lectures at national and international meetings. His research interests include stem cell applications, biomarkers and cancer outcomes."

He removed a tumor from my kidney robotically. I didn't even feel pain the next day. Sorry he moved so far away from me. I am awaiting his new office in Boynton Beach. What a man !
