Dr. Murtaza Arif is a board certified gastroenterologist and hepatologist with over 10 years of clinical experience. He moved to Houston in 2016 and within a short period has developed a solid reputation as an exceptional gastroenterologist in the area. Dr. Arif received Internal Medicine residency training from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He then completed his Gastroenterology fellowship from the University of Missouri (Columbia) and advanced training in therapeutic endoscopy at Geisinger Medical Center. He has authored or co-authored several peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, research studies and case reports in Gastroenterology.
