This content was provided by Dr. Adam "Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Adam studied Biomedical Engineering and Physiology at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. He then returned home to complete his medical training at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After obtaining his medical degree, he completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, where he was appointed Co-Chief Resident and was awarded the James S. Shipman award for best resident research project. Dr. Adam was fortunate to stay in Philadelphia to complete his 2-year vitreoretinal surgical training at Wills Eye Hospital, widely considered to be one of the top retina training programs in the world. As a fellow, he was awarded the prestigious Heed Fellowship in for his research endeavours and the William Tasman, MD Outstanding Fellow Award in recognition of his dedication to resident teaching."
