Learn about Dr. Sharma

Care Philosophy

Dr. Mudit Sharma approaches each patient with compassion and care, drawing on a vast fund of cutting edge treatment options for spinal problems and brain tumors. He specializes in providing minimally invasive care for all problems of brain and spine and emphasizes on conservative care whenever possible. All patients get his complete, undivided attention and treatment decisions are made in partnership with the patient and their family. Most of Dr. Sharma's patients start with conservative, non-surgical pain management. When surgery is recommended, Dr. Sharma makes every effort to minimize the trauma of surgical intervention by using latest minimally invasive techniques. Fusions are avoided whenever possible but if needed, are performed using the latest techniques such as XLIF, TLIF, Aspen, X-Stop, ALIF, pedicle screws and ACDF. His priority is well being of the patient.

I have seen many Doctors for my spine and Dr. Sharma ALWAYS treats me with respect and compassion. He installed my pain simulator a few years ago. Now my scoliosis has gotten so bad he needs to do a Xlif on me. I love that he can do minimally invasive procedure with a short recovery time. 2 other doctors wanted to cut me open for a very serious surgery. I am grateful that Dr. Sharma keeps his skill up to date so that he can offer this procedure.

I was referred to Dr Sharma by my pain dr in 2015, and he performed surgery in both 2015/2016 to correct different issues. When I started having other pain, I went back to him, and the CT/MRI/XRAYS showed that surgery would be needed. At my husbands request, I got a second opinion. That dr recommended a different path. I sent an email with this info to Dr Sharma, and he had us come in to discuss the differences. My husband and i were both impressed at his ability to calm our fears. :)

I had suffered with leg pain for the majority of my life. I knew what I needed to have done, but I never felt comfortable enough with any dr to let them operate on me. After one meeting with Dr. SHARMA, I knew he was the right dr. I had surgery in sept., a car accident in oct. and today I am pain free and released from care. Excellent surgeon and excellent person. Thank you Dr. Sharma.

Dr S is an accomplished, proven, exemplary spine specialist. Not only is he brilliant, but has personality, too! His superior skills, the innovative disk he designed & successfully utilized on me twice w/in 3 mos (neck+lumbar spine), amazed Medical professionals & friends alike who'd had fusions w other surgeons. My recovery was 1/2 theirs He accepted me after 2 surgeons refused stating I was too high risk. I am 63. I now feel 33. I got my life back. I highly recommend him to those I love & you.
