Dr. Hirth is for sure a skillful doctor. I went to his office for preventive colonoscopy. He also wanted to do diagnostic endoscopy at same time. Dr did not seem to listen to me, since they had coded my colonoscopy as diagnostic. Dr. takes also biopsy every time. I ended up with huge bills from pathology lab. Also anesthesia is billed separately since I had diagnostic procedure done at the same time (in preventive it is included). Check the cost and the procedure codes in advance!

Poor patient contact and careless prescription writing. The Hirth Office is very relaxed on details and does not listen to patient's requests. I received such poor attention that I filed a complaint with the BBB, their response was to drop me as a patient. I ( the patient ) was told what I had done or not done, their response was totally defensive, not one word of a health care concern. The worse experience with a doctors office I ever experienced, PERIOD.

Great staff and doctor. They squeezed me into the schedule after I had some abdominal pain and treated my problem in one visit.

only interested in treating the symptoms. Not sure why others rave of him. For me, a very poor experience. After 2 weeks of him not being able to diagnose my gallbladder problem and having me take medication for stomach spasms, I consulted another Dr. My new Dr had me go for specialized testing which showed that my gallbladder was inactive and full of stones. First time I ever was hospitalized and first time I ever needed surgery. Find another Dr!!

I had my screening colonoscopy with Dr. Hirth. I chose him because he was one of the few that would do a non anesthesia colonoscopy if the patient wanted. He thoroughly discussed the issues with me and was very careful and patient during the procedure which included a polyp snip (all of which I got to watch live on screen with his commentary). It was not easy, but I would do it again to save the cost and be able to drive. Office was very clean and efficiently run with friendly staff. Thanks!
