Dr. Nadjafi

"He is incredibly arrogant, doesn't listen when you're telling him what you've been experiencing, doesn't listen when you tell him what meds you've been in the past or how you reacted to them and comes to a conclusion about your diagnosis based on god only knows what because it's like talking to a wall."

"Absolutely awful psychiatrist. Should not be practicing. Kept me on medications that clearly had adverse effects and made my depression and anxiety worse. Never took my health claims seriously. Will be searching for another provider soon."

I was placed under his care while my regular NP was on leave. He had me quit the antidepressants she had prescribed (which had serious withdrawal effects that he never mentioned) and placed me on antipsychotics (I have a mood disorder, not psychosis). When he could be bothered to pay attention and not take cell phone calls in the middle of my appointment, he would dismiss all of my suicidal ideation as me being "socially awkward". I nearly killed myself several times under his care. Stay away.
