Dr cartwright.is a very competent skilled and compassionate..doctor..who has real concern for his patients

Excellent doctor only thing I would say is I can in confused about my eye and left the same way. I felt the upcoming process should of been explained to me from the doctor not a nurse. That way later there's no misunderstanding about what's going on with my eye. He seemed like he was rushing. Remember as a medical professional your Patients are and should be your number 1 priority not about getting to the next patient to shorten the load.

BAD DOCTOR2
Kissimmee, FL |
Good service, friendly staff and doctor. Just wish the doctor spending more time with the patient. He literally spent less than 5 minutes with me. The nurse never told me about the procedure I wasn't being scheduled for and what to expect either.

Very personable and seems to know His stuff he has a great clinic.I would recommend to all my friends!

Dr. CARTWRIGHT is a great guy. His office staff has sucked over the years but lately they have been better as I have complained in the past. Usually the wait to see him is well over an hour past the appt time. I have asked him about this and he knows about it but can't help getting called out of the office for emergencies which backs things up. I'm glad to have his level of expertise for the optic glioma which is being monitored after chemotherapy 6 years ago.

Dr. Cartwright was great. He took time to answer my questions and seemed experienced and we'll informed. His sense of humor was a bit corny but relaxed. The staff was efficient and polite, and seemed sincerely to care about me. Negative side...the wait was quite long, and drops were put into my eyes without explanation they were dilating my pupils or how long I would have my vision distorted. I had to wait well over ah hour to be able to drive home, or tolerate the bright sun.

He is very professional and well experienced i trust on him and I dont mind to wait approximate from 45 mnts to an hr to see him as well travel one hr & sometime more trough I4, to go to kissimme . As busy he is, he use a fair time to educated and explain my condition and status not to much time to socialize. Which, for me is ok & undertandable due his work load. His staff always willing to accomadate my needs and very nice. Orlando is nice people but a better parking/ space will be easier 4 us

I do recommend Dr. CARTWRIGHT to folks that need his Many skills. HE was recommended to me by a renowned Opthalmologist in New England; the ONLY Dr trained to handle Graves Disease. He made certain that I'd have a Dr who was equally trained & certified to handle my condition. The day I & my husband met Dr. CARTWRIGHT, he took 1 look at me & told me what was wrong. He then ordered more current tests & went from there. He is a Plastic Surgeon Specialist & is handling a delicate area next week.

Forget all of the meaningless words and opinions that you are reading expressed here. If you are going to go blind, you go to this man--- period! He single handedly saved my 92 year old mothers vision. He is well on the way to saving my wife's eyesight. I graduated from an Ivy League school (Harvard '80). I know when I am in the presence of the best. This man is the best.

Office is very disorganized, even when you check your insurance and give it to them , it is not checked or belived ..I had to call my insurance in the office and give them the phone..total wait time and time wasted on confusion ..3 hrs..never again.. Dr. Burry was very nice though!
in Orlando, FL |
I highly recommend Dr. Cartwright... He did the best to help me when no one else could after i suffered a terrible accident in my right eye.He is very knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything that needed to be done to me and was very gentle and compassionate. His staff also amazing.. Great people.. I am so very thankful and very satisfied with my experience with Dr. Cartwright.
in Orlando, FL |
Poor patient treatment. 2hours wait time WITH appointment. Dr. Cartwright is not always pleasant and have an discomforting demeanor. Seems to get frustrated easily. I feel like I was #. Someone with Medicaid insurance, not a patient receiving medical care. I have a serious medical condition which is very unpredictable and throughout the length of being a patient (over 9 months) Waiting and accepting this, I had to call SEVERAL times to be told I was discharged for leaving before being seen

They have you going all the time for unnecessary test. I had to go three times for an extensive glaucoma test and after the second time I asked if I was close to having glaucoma and was told it is just because of my age. I was 58 years old and no history in my family. for cataract they wanted to put a torc multifocal lens in that I was told by another Dr. I could not have because I had lasik in the past. There is not enough room for all my complaints.
