I first saw Dr. Giles at Laureate, then at Emory, where she has been for the last few years. I think that she is a fantastic Dr. She is always cheerful and shows an interest in your life, not just your health. She takes the time to listen & answer all your questions, giving detailed explanations and advice when needed. I have to disagree w/the person who said that if the office staff was uncaring, then the Drs. would likely be as well b/c unfortunately I have known some great Drs. that work in practices that are NOT RUN WELL at all. I.e. Emory does not accept fax requests for RX refills from your pharmacy & it often takes multiple long frustrating phone calls to get refills done. However, that is Emory's policy and should not diminish the Drs., the treatment provided, and the concern that they show for their patient's well-being. I would highly recommend Dr. Giles and believe she gives every patient the same excellent care that I received.

My initial appointment with Dr. Giles was scheduled a month and a half in advance. I arrived on time and found that the office had moved to a new location. I had not been notified of the new address. I made it to the new location and was only 15 minutes late. I was told that the doctor could not see me because I was late. I explained what had happened and received no response. I will not reschedule. A very uncaring staff tells me that this doctor may be also.
