Dr Crane was exceptional. She did a great job drawing my sister out so that she would answer questions. That is not easy to do. Dr Crane answered all the questions that my family had so that we understood what lies ahead.

Dr. Crane has been a gift to our family. My mother in law was having some memory issues and the entire staff has been caring and responsive and very thorough. From the first visit when we sat through the diagnostic phase to and unexpected phone call today with happy news, we have felt care for and supported at every turn. I would not trust memory care to anyone else.

Dr. Crane is an excellent diagnostician who deeply cares about helping patients and families navigate the difficulties of dementia. She is highly in-demand and is very busy, but she devotes all of her attention to your family member during the appointment. As an MD myself, I greatly appreciate her incredible expertise and the huge positive impact she has on people and families suffering with dementia.

I really don't even know where to start. Dr. Crane was on of the rudest physicians I have ever been around. I took my father to see her d/t concerns for dementia. I'm in the medical field myself and I was completely thrown back on the lack of care as well as kindness. I feel like the worst part was the HIPPA violations. She sent us home with another pts medical records. When I called their office to voice my concerns they did not seem to care. Did we receive the correct diagnosis or one from another pts scans? This is the first time I have ever written a bad review on a physician. If one person reads this and chooses a different physician then I feel this review is completely worth writing. Do yourself a favor and choose a different physician. There are so many more concerns I could list but not enough space. I hope one day that Dr. Crane doesn't find herself in the shoes of some of her patients/families and if she does that she will receive better care than my family did.

Dr. Crane gave us our mom back! Two years ago she was very depressed, confused and sad. This year at Christmas she was singing, knew us and participated in family meals and activities. She is very kind and over time our mom has gotten better. She also gave us a diagnosis which we needed for so long. Thank you!

I wish I could leave negative stars. If you would like your loved one to be treated for their disease alone then this is the place for you. If you would like your loved one to be treated as person and their disease to be treated while maintaining quality of life and to be given resources as a caregiver or patient then this is not the place for you. At first Dr. Crane seemed very thorough. But after a year at her office, I have come to learn that she is aggressive, unkind, and unable to communicate clear and concise facts. The issue is that after a few months my mom started having abnormal lab results and Dr. Crane was adamant that it was not the trial drug/placebo causing it. (Come to find out the drug is made of biosalts which definitely could have caused her abnormal lab values and surprise surprise when her labs returned to normal after the drug was stopped.) This office and doctor are unreliable. We have been waiting months for complete medical records to be sent from this office.

We could not be happier with Dr. Crane. My husband had seen another doctor and was very unhappy and he is so happy with Dr. Crane and her staff. He is doing so well and her staff is wonderful. They are always willing to help and they give everyone expert care. We are so happy they were able to take him as a new patient. They're the best!

My husband and I have each seen Dr. Crane for different issues. She gave my husband answers for the problems he was experiencing, when he couldn’t find them elsewhere. She is an excellent physician, that ensures her patients understand their diagnosis, and how to proceed with treatment before leaving her presence. She also provided copies of test reports in hand.

Dr. Crane is expert in dementia and especially FTD. She has seen my husband more in past few months of taking him as patient than the years in past trying to get him diagnosed. Everyone at the office is exceptional with him. I would highly recommend her to anyone

I've been to Dr. Crane's office multiple times. She is an outstanding doctor with expertise in dementia care. Our family has had very positive interactions with Dr. Crane and her staff. She also takes time to talk with us about caregiver issues. We have been to other memory clinics and Dr. Crane's is the best in TN.

Dr Crane is excellent doctor - office staff is incompetent. My husband has seen her for several years at UT. Wanted to continue seeing her and was assured that Genesis would accept his insurance. He had an appointment scheduled for 3 months. I took the day off work because he doesn't drive. When we arrived we were told his insurance was not accepted. The office should have contacted us since they were aware of what insurance he had beforehand. Also other negative interactions with office staff.

Dr Crane is an exceptional doctor with an Ivy League education but a down to earth and authentic approach to caring for our family member with Alzheimer's. She is extremely knowledgeable- but if she is not sure of a specific diagnosis she tells us so. Our family has stayed with her since 2009 and and will continue to follow her even when she changes to her new private practice.
