I have had two appointments with Dr. Amin concerning a chronic illness I've been unable to effectively manage through my Family Doctor; he recommended that I see a Rheumatologist. I do a fair amount of research on my condition and had multiple questions for Dr. Amin; she patiently fielded every questions and provide very complete answers in a manner that I could understand. I think I am in good hands.
Dr. Amin was not caring or compassionate. I went to her for 1 appt to see if she could offer anything new to help treat my severe fibromyalgia since I do not want to take opiods of any kind (& they make me itch like crazy!) or tramadol, etc. and she said she couldn't help me at all. They ordered a thyroid test & never told me the results, even though they were off & I should have been told ASAP. They said I had to make another appt just to get my own results! Money is all this MD is about.

Dr. Amin is very knowledgeable in this field. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and patiently. She did not rush to get to her next patient. I immediately felt that she was interested and concerned about my well-being and the care that I needed. I really like her. She and her staff are very professional.

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
