Dr. Warthan indicated she had training. In plastic surgery and closes all her own procedures. On previous MOHS. Procedures the dermatologist has always used a plastic surgeon to close. I had 2 lesions. I allowed her to suture the first and it looked like I had done it myself! For the second I used a plastic surgeon. She is very aggressive in removing tissue wanting to get it done on the first cut. I will have an ugly scar from her. When the plastic surgeon saw her work he called her a "hack

I have been a patient of both Molly and Mandy Warthan for 5 years now and I just turned 60. I am fair skinned and have issues with pre-cancerous skin issues and a few actual skin cancer spots. One was on my right upper cheek and was removed without issue and looks fine after healing. I have also had many other pre-cancerous moles removed and had the "blue light" address the "age spots" on my face. The Dr's are helping me address these issues every 6 months as I expect to live to 100 !

She did surgery on my mothers face to remove skin cancer and left her horribly scarred for life. We were horrified at the results. She wanted to redo the scarred area but mom was afraid to let her come close to her again. My mom is 94. Please avoid this woman if you care for your looks. My mom has a long jagged slash across her face that she cannot hide. It goes from under her eye to her chin. ????Now we have found out she NEVER NEEDED THE SURGERY! Beware her lobby was full of ELDERLY people.
Fort Worth, TX |
Her explanation of the procedure I need sounded like a script or sales pitch. She was rude to one of the nurses in the same room with me, not professional at all. As soon as I left I started searching for another doctor.
