I was very impressed with Dr, Zena and that is why I am his patient. When you visit him, he is always prepared in advance, knows your test results and past history and explains in detail any issues that may be present as well as instructions for recovery. His medical knowledge is amazing and I really appreciate that.

Today was my first visit to Dr. Zena ‘s office. He listened patiently to all my concerns, and completed a thorough test. He explained my situation and discussed different treatment options with me, and took the time to answer all my questions. Excellent doctor and I highly recommend him.

Neither my husband, myself or my niece like this doctor. He will not listen to anything you have to say. Talks over you and wouldn't listen when we tried to tell him he couldn't prescribe the medicine that he did because our insurance wouldn't cover it. We found him overbearing.

I only felt like he was seeing me because he was contractually obligated. Type 1 Diabetic, and he didn't seem that interested in me because I didn't have other hormonal problems. Wouldn't help me until I stopped taking shots. Basically told me to come back when I could afford it and wouldn't make any adjustments or work with me.

I've been going to Dr. Zena for my thyroid for almost 3 yrs now. I too had heard a lot of stories about doctors not listening to patients but Dr. Zena listened to my symptoms, concerns, and my preferences for my treatment and we decided on the best solution for me together. I would recommend him to anyone.

If I could I would give him a zero. I went in after years of issues, I believe probably are related to an autoimmune disease or some other HORMONAL issue that has been making my life a living hell to be asked: if I am stressed? If I have anxiety?.No, I am not and no, I don't but I do have a whole hell of a lot of symptoms that are ACTUALLY happening. Such a cliche thing to say to a female who by the way has autoimmune disorders in her family and has lived in her own body for 31 years.

I was referred to Dr Zena through my primary care provider for Hyperthyroidism. After confirming the diagnosis, he informed me of my treatment options and left the decision up to me. During my research many individuals have said that they felt forced my their doctor on the course of treatment that they wanted, not what the patient wanted.

At the recommendation of my physician, I went to Dr Zena reluctantly. I am not a very good patient and intensely dislike going to any doctor. Initially, I felt that Dr Zena was nice but by the time I went to my 3rd appt, I was beginning to do what he recommended. He was very patient with me; his suggestions were beginning to make a real difference. I highly recommend Dr Zena He is one of the best endocrinologists in Omaha AND his office staff is kind, cooperative.& don't call me Honey.

I came in to get a second opinion regarding my thyroid levels. I had been experiencing issues for months, and my regular physician wouldn't diagnose me with anything, so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Zena. He diagnosed me with hypothyroidism after running blood tests normal physicians don't. He provided me with packets of information on the disease, and answered any questions I had. He is great!!
