He's a very nice guy. Very upbeat. He seems very willing to help your situation. The only problem is the wait time.

The doctor is amazing but the wait time is ridiculous!
in Lubbock, TX |
Most of the time I saw the nurse practitioner. The doctor did not do much to help me control my diabetes. When it came to finding a new doctor I had trouble getting a referral from his office in order to see a new doctor of my choosing.

I've seen Dr. Bakdash going on 20 years now.I drive over 2 hours to see him & I wouldn't drive this far for any other doctor in West Texas.I've had Type 1 diabetes for 43 years, so I have experience dealing with endocrinologists and other doctors, and I feel lucky to have found such a knowledgeable, experienced, and caring doctor.Dr. Bakdash is always on the cutting edge of diabetes care: he knows what advances are coming and keeps me informed of the latest scientific research on Type 1 diabetes
