Consistent Reliable Care
I have relied upon Dr. Khan’s practice for nearly five years now and found him to be a very personable and caring physician. Other psychiatrists often possess clinical and sterile demeanors that frankly are very off putting and never reassuring. Not the case with Dr. Kahn: I feel he always listens to my concerns with compassion and makes recommendations that have my best interest at heart. I fully recommend him to anyone seeking consistent and compassionate care.

Dr Khan helped my son
My son has seen several doctors, but he did not like any of them. Dr Khan knew exactly how to speak to my son and what my son deals with on a daily basis. He is knowledgeable and helpful. We love Dr. Khan

My wife is a trans woman, in therapy and with a strong support network. We both work from home and share an office. I couldn’t help but to start paying attention to the conversation between her and Dr. Kahn. I saw her demeanor change when the doctor began asking inappropriate, and extremely personal details about how and what we enjoy in bed. He completely disregarded her concerns about executive functions, work performance, anxiety, panic attacks and medication. He instead, continued to pressure her to go deeper in detail about the subject with an off-putting curiosity. DO NOT recommend, LGBT+ profiler and highly unprofessional.

He put me on 50mg Zoloft for 6 days and then right away to 100mg Zoloft, side effects of Zoloft is insomnia which I suffer from. Was having stomach pains and losing sleep, then had a seizure on day 10 (3rd day of 100mg). I called his office freaked out for someone to get a hold of him, and his response to the team for me was “go back to 50mg and see me in a week”. What? After a suspected seizure? I called Pfizer and they said to discontinue. Called him back and the team said he made his recommendation and will be sticking with it. My gut instinct said to discontinue. So I saw him in a week anyway, just to see what he’d say. He said it was good that I discontinued. What? I could have had another seizure if I listened to him! He doesn’t listen to you. He only comes in one day a week and is extremely unreliable. Find another psychiatrist who actually cares rather than making a check.

Always runs late. Always. Doesn’t matter if you are the first appt., he’ll be late to that. I highly dislike physicians that have that little respect for patient’s time.

I moved too far away to see him anymore. I've thought about making the hour drive to go back. If he didn't have a patient after me, he'd spend 30 min chatting with me about how I'm doing. He helped me find the right dosage of meds I've been on for 4 years, and after seeing him for a year suggested I try a new medication, and a year later I finally listened to him. I don't care for my current psychiatrist very much. He's a good doctor and really cares.

Dr Khan started working with our 12 yr old son about 18 months ago. Four other practitioners had treated him previously. Our son was aggressive and anything would set him off. The meds and therapy the other practitioners had tried was not helping. No consequences or rewards helped. He had been incorrectly diagnosed with depression, anxiety and ODD. Dr Khan corrected the misdiagnosis to bipolar disorder and worked to stabilize him on the correct medications. Our son is happier, not hearing voices, sleeping better, not aggressive, not as easily agitated, and is safe to be around our 5yr old daughter now.

Okay there's only so many characters available but in a nutshell, all they care about is money. You are required to make an appointment, pay a copay to have a prescription refilled. We also waited almost an hour past our appointment time for my daughter to be seen for 15 min just to be told to exercise. I should have listened to the lady in the waiting room who just finished arguing with the staff because they were overcharging her. Charged us no show fees for appointments we cancelled. Unprofes

Dr Khan is an extraordinary psychiatrist with a very broad medical background. His experience enables him to understand the whole picture with regard to helping his patients manage their behavioral health issues. My husband and I have benefited greatly from his skillful and compassionate treatment. He is willing and able to answer any question. As others have noted, the wait can be long at times. We think this is because he is willing to spend as much time with his patients as they need.

I have been struggling with bipolar disorder my whole life. I had attempted suicide three times. I have seen so many doctors and therapists and no one ever could figure out what was wrong with me. It wasn't until the last time I tried to end it. They sent me to the hospital where Dr Khan works every now and then. This was 4 years ago and I've never been better. He works with you and listens to you. He figured out the best doses for me . His staff is the most caring. Love them

For the first year, I never waited less than an hour in order to be seen for 10 min. Then, when I had a deductible instead of a co-pay, no one was ever able to tell me what I owed. They chose literally random numbers and said I could pay the difference later when they figured it out, even when I was billed they still missed things. I got bills from years ago. Finally, I was billed extra for being "needier" in my ten minutes than usual. 40 extra bucks. Also, no one picks up the phone.
