He was very rude, said I asked stupid questions and didn't help me any when it come to my meds, fibromyalgia sucks ,every doctor thinks that your faking the pain or your to fat and that's where the pain comes from, well he doesn't even listen to you just does what he thinks is right.

I've been going to Dr. Sisay for 4 years now. It was going to take me 6 months to get in to see a Dr. in Owensboro but they got me right in. He started me on medication right away and explained we needed to be aggressive in fighting it. After 4 years he has backed down my meds and said I am almost to the point he can say I am in remission. When I was having RA flare ups all I had to do was call them and they talked to me right away. Everyone in the office has always been very encouraging

This doctor is a joke. He ruined my life by misdiagnosing me and prescribing me an immense amount of medicine that was harmful to my body and ended up progressing my actual disease. He treats you as if you were incompetent and could care less about your opinion. I'm only a medical student and I know more than this pretentious jerk. I hope he gets shut down.
Overall bad experience. They did not seem concerned about my well being.

Have gone to Dr Sisay for 13 years. He has always been slack in volunteering any information to me. If you ask any questions he gets very short and impatient in answering. He only wants to tell you what he wants to tell you. No tolerance for apt change. The lab tech could not hit a vein my last apt. I returned and still failed. He flipped today and told me to find another Dr so I did. Should have before now. Terrible patient communications/ manner. Have already found a better Doctor. Good luck

I see alot of negative reviews I have been looking for answers for myself for going on 5 years and the first day I see him he helps me he gave me alot if information to read about my diagnosis and I am very happy with his care esp given what all I've been through with other Dr's in the area
in Mayfield, KY |
Dr. Sisay treated me like less than a human being. I had gone to him for help in figuring out what was going on with me, and I wasn't giving any answers. What I have apparently wasn't autoimmune, but when I got upset because I still didn't have any new answers he yelled at me I GAVE YOU THE ANSWER, THAT IS THE ANSWER! Apparently arthritis also causes muscle spasms in the arms and legs, difficulty emtpying your bladder, fatigue, trouble with concentration and confusion. Way to go, Sisay!

Dr. Sisay is a Dr that does not like for the patient to ask questions. He made me feel on numerous occasions like he felt I was questioning him as a doctor. I wanted him to educate me not make me feel like it was wrong to ask or to demean me or belittle me just for asking questions. So eventually our patient/Dr relationship suffered because of this. It is sad really. I believe he could be a great Dr if he would get down from his hi-horse and actually listen without taking offense. Gods blessings
