First appointment he couldn't get out of the room fast enough. He was assuming I maybe had tendonitis or slight tear in RC. He did order an MRI. His tone completely changed on the follow up when it was found I had a full thickness tear and he said I needed surgery ASAP. This abrupt change left me with quite a bit of anxiety. I decided to get a second opinion and I'm glad I did. Next specialist said having surgery so quickly with the amount of damage I had would have most likely resulted in a second, more invasive surgery. To me it seemed Dr. Fagelman was just looking at dollar signs.

Dr. Fagelman is very people oriented and explains everything very well. He does not rush in and out of the room. I had an exceptional first dr visit with him. His PA, Rich, is also very personable and friendly, and gave me an almost pain free cortisone injection. I highly recommend Dr. Fagelman (and his whole staff).

I rarely do reviews but OrthoTexas and the team working with Dr. Fagelman deserve high praise and went above and beyond through the entire course of treatment for my Distal Radial Fracture (broken wrist – with three bones broken away from the top of the radius and broken away from the wrist). I also had an Ulnar Styloid Fracture which was not as severe which healed without surgery on its own. Was able to get in for 1st appointment very quickly where Terry replaced the temporary splint with a much better one which allowed more finger movement. He did all the casting each time and was superb at his job… Lisa who did the X-Rays as required was also excellent. The surgery at Baylor Scott and White in Frisco went very well… Loved the nurses and the anesthesiologist, Dr. Adcock. Dr Fagelman performed a perfect surgery with surgical steel and pins to hold the three broken bones together with the radius. Casts were replaced as needed and ultimately placed in a removeable cast and bega

I had my elbow surgery 4 months ago, Dr. Fagelman performed the surgery, after which I was taken care by Rich, Lisa, Terry, Lisette, Jaleen, and the physical therapy team at the Plano location. I want to thank all for the great care, and patience during these 4 months. I am now, thanks to all, in a good place, fully functional, and almost out of pain. Highly recommend!

I saw Dr Fagelam about a right shoulder pain on 3/5/20. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. They set me up for an mri, which unfortunately I could not do on 3/6/20. Lissette called me about an hour later and gave me an option of an open mri which I agreed to. I awaited for North Star to call me on 3/6/20 but they never did. On Monday 3/9/20 I called North Star at 10.37 and left a message saying I was waiting for someone to call me to set up another appointment. I said I had a follow up with Dr Fagelman on 3/13/20 so I was a bit concerned that no one called me yet. As of 4:27 pm on 3/9/20 I have not received a call back from North Star. I will keep my appointment with Dr Fagelman on 3/13/20 whether they call me or not.

I went in on July 23, 2019, for surgery on a large rotator cuff tear on my right shoulder. Dr. Fagelman did a great job on the surgery. I followed everything he said to do and the 6 week post surgery went well. After that I started PT at OrthoTexas in Carrollton with Mike Pyon leading my PT effort. Mike did a great job on getting me doing the right exercises for me. Dr. Fagelman and his staff Lissett his nurse and Rich his PA were always friendly and a pleasure to deal with on my visits. In addition to be a very skilled surgeon, Dr. Fagelman was also very concerned about making sure my pain early in the process was managed appropriately. I would highly recommend him and his staff.

Reverse total shoulder replacement surgery was done three months ago, and husband could not be more pleased with the pre-op, surgery itself, and followup to this date. Dr. Fagelman's explanations and instructions have been clear, and any questions we have had were addressed. The recently added patient care coordinator has stayed in contact and was invaluable immediately after the surgery. The PA is a skilled professional. Highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Fagelman, his physician assistant, nurse, xray and MRI technicians, physical therapists and front office staff rate 5 stars (10 if possible) for their combined team work to heal my injury. OrthoTexas is a one stop shop for everyone that has an ortho related health issue. I am grateful to the parishioners of my church that recommended Dr Fagleman and his staff for my care. I had torn 2 left arm rotator cuff tendons due to a fall last August. Thank you so much for the excellent care.

Dr. Fagelman and his staff are always very friendly and extremely prompt every time I have been in his office. Ortho Texas is a wonderful facility - always clean and the waiting area is quite comfortable. Dr. Fagelman replaced my shoulder and because of his care, I have recovered quite rapidly. I thoroughly trust his judgment and would definitely go back to him for any further orthopedic surgical needs. He is extremely proficient in his field. I would recommend him and Ortho Texas to anyone

I had excellent results from rotator cuff surgery performed by Dr. Fagleman. He and his staff are very kind, caring and professional. All my appointments were easily scheduled and I had very short wait times. I received detailed instructions about my surgery, recovery and rehabilitation afterwards. The physical therapy clinic at OrthoTexas is excellent. They took time for personal attention and provided complete instructions for home exercise. Great facility, spacious and plenty of equipment

Seven years ago I injured my elbow and was referred to Dr Fagelman by my family physician. I was very impressed with Dr. Fagelman ' s knowledge and his caring attitude. He always made me feel like I was the only patient he had. He never rushes and seriously listens to you. Earlier this year I fell and injured my wrist, hand and elbow. After a misdiagnosis by a wrist ortho the ER sent me to, I went to dr Fagelman who, correctly diagnosed the fracture and began treatment. He actually cares.

Dr. Fagelman is by far the best doctor I have had for any of my health care needs. He performed surgery on both my shoulders for a torn rotator cuff. His bedside manner is the best. He takes genuine care for his patients and answered all my questions. He was very thorough in explaining the procedures and the recovery. Also, his staff, Rich, his P.A., and Lisette, his assistant, are fantastic. They are both warm and friendly and very knowledgeable in their respective field.

I have used this Ortho Group numerous times. I had two knee surgeries with Dr Wheless(who has retired) and now have had my rotator cuff surgery with Dr Fagelman. My mother had numerous breaks and repairs in her last few years with a few of the other doctors. I would not consider going anyplace else and I would definitely recommend the group. I grew very fond of both doctors in the extended treatments after surgery. They made me feel like I was family and explained and discussed any questions.
