I tore my meniscus playing racquetball a few weeks ago and I wanted the best care from an Orthopedic doctor at MedStar. A very close friend who works in the O. R. at Harbor Hospital and my wife also an employee at Harbor, both recommended Dr. Marchant. I knew the first visit that he was who I wanted repairing my meniscus. He performed surgery on March 29th and I am thoroughly pleased with the way I was treated by Dr. Marchant and his staff.

At my first appointment, set in the morning (before his schedule could possibly have gotten away from him), he kept me waiting in the common area for 40 minutes, and then in the examination room for another 30. Since then, he has cancelled two consecutive follow-up appointments. He may be the greatest surgeon in the world, but I'll never know from first-hand experience. I'm sure I can find a shoulder surgeon in Baltimore who has the time to see and care for his or her patients.

Warm, caring, excellent doctor! I had rotator cuff surgery and he did an excellent job. When I did follow up visits he didn't rush me out but took time to answer all questions with full answers and helpful ideas to deal with the healing process. I would recommend him to everyone.
