Negative experience! It borders on negligence when you go to an ENT doctor with complaints of trouble breathing, scratchy throat and cough, and she doesn't even listen to your chest. Her empathy and listening skills are bare-bones minimal. I might as well be talking to a robot.

I think that Dr. Roeser may have a personality disorder. Her behavior with us (I joined my 19-year-old daughter on her appointment) was exactly like the other patient who felt dismissed and patronized. Truly, this appointment was more hurtful than helpful. She made my daughter feel like she was being overly dramatic about the very real pain and illnesses she has been experiencing over the past 6 months. Reading other reviews that describe her as warm and helpful is just bizarre. She was one of the least warm doctors I have ever interacted with in my 50+ years, and my brother is a surgeon (who are notoriously not warm). I am actually not questioning her medical opinion, I can't imagine that she lied to us about what she saw during her examination, but I can tell you when she got up and left the room abruptly, without ANY kind or helpful words for my daughter, she is lucky that I was too stunned to speak. She should be ashamed of herself.

Dr. Roeser is wonderful. As a new patient I did not know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised with everything. The ease of getting an appointment, the friendliness of the staff, and the doctor herself! She was thorough. Reviewed all of my records before examining me. Comprehensive examination. Recommendations and treatment options were discussed.... even “just in case” scenarios. Not that I want to have to go back to her anytime soon, but I look forward to seeing her again! I highly recommend Dr. Roeser!??

Horrible experience. I felt dismissed immediately and she had a smirk on her face the entire time which added insult to injury. I went through the motions but she could not have been more unhelpful. I had to pull answers and any assistance out of her by asking multiple questions until I hit just the right one. Recommend you go to someone else who actually wants to help you.

Dr. Roeser was outstanding! She listened closely to me, provided excellent feedback, and her examination was fast but thorough and effectively addressed my concerns. In addition, on the day of my appointment she was running a little bit behind (20 minutes, which in Northern Virginia isn't bad) and the FIRST thing she did when she walked into the exam room was apologize for being late. I've never had a doctor do that...EVER! I highly recommend Dr. Roeser to friends and family!

Dr. Roeser is everything I want to see in a doctor: warm, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and reassuring. I was seen just a few minutes after my appointment time. She answered all of my questions and I never felt rushed. Everyone in the office was also friendly and prompt.

She told me there was nothing wrong with my septum when I actually had a badly deviated septum. Her billing office uses predatory billing practices and threaten patients with collections. she didn't respond to a letter that was sent asking to waive the frivolous charge. Overall, terrible patient experience, little to no communication from the doctor. I had surgery from another well known ENT specialist on the septum she found nothing wrong with.
