This content was provided by Dr. Gurvitz "Dr. Gurvitz is an assistant professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and a staff cardiologist with the Boston Adult Congenital Heart program at Boston Children's Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Gurvitz is board certified in pediatrics, internal medicine and pediatric cardiology and has a Master's degree in Health Services Research. Currently, Dr. Gurvitz divides her time between research, clinical care, and administrative activities. Dr. Gurvitz also sits on a number of committees and advisory boards regarding care of adults with CHD. These include the Medical Advisory Board of the Adult Congenital Heart Association, steering committee of the Congenital Heart Public Health Consortium, founding member of the Alliance for Adult Research in Congenital Cardiology, member of the adult congenital committees of the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Gurvitz also maintains an active clinical practice seeing adolescents and adults with congenital heart disease"
