It was all very fast. Dr. Chi and the rest of the personnel were nice and caring. She explained all the pros and cons and went through it right away. It’s been a couple of day of the injection. I hope it works.

I saw Dr. Chi on Tuesday, April 26. I was having pain in my right shoulder for which she had had me get an MRI on the preceding Saturday. We discussed the results and she suggested I see Dr. William Schairer at HSS. I have subsequently made an appointment with him as he sounds like the right orthopedic surgeon for me. I appreciate her referral.

Great experience with Dr. Chi!
I had a great experience seeing Dr. Chi about chronic pain in my hip and knees. She is a smart, compassionate, and informative doctor, and came up with a good plan of action to get me on the road to feeling better. Also the office staff (at the upper west side location, at least) is nice and efficient, and the offices are clean and comfortable. Thumbs up!

It was my first exam visit with Dr. Chi. Dr. Chi was empathetic, listened to my concerns, and provided a thorough, hands-on exam. The Staff was most friendly. The office was very clean, and had well-organized processes in checking-in.

Knowledgeable and approachable
I have full confidence in Dr. Chi. She is a wonderful doctor who inspires confidence. She is open to any questions and a visit never feels rushed. She remembered and referenced a problem from my last visit, which was impressive, as it was 5 months prior. This time she administered an injection in my knee and put me at ease beforehand.

She is very warm. I felt extremely comfortable with her. She is very professional. I would highly recommend her. After hearing my symptoms, she immediately ordered X-rays. This was the exact thing my primary geriatric internist advised me to have done, but to wait after my visit with Dr. Chi to see what she wanted me to do.

I am a new patient of Dr. Chi's - 79 and with 'issues' related to near-quarantined sedentariness during the whole of this Covid pandemic. Which makes pinpoint diagnosis very difficult! Dr. Chi spent nearly an hour with me, carefully recording all of my 'musings' on What's Wrong with Me, and concluded by saying, "I think we now have a plan!" I'm so thankful to be under the care of a dynamic young doctor who can, in fact, structure a realistic "plan" to help get me back in the groove! It will start with an MRI of the spine and x-rays of the leg that's giving me the most trouble. I am 100% behind this "plan"!

Initially I sought Dr. Chi’s guidance to treat the back pain that would not go away after being in a car accident. She suggested a physical therapy treatment plan that immediately reduced the discomfort that allowed me to end the use of pain medication that I had used for several months. The physical therapist was attentive, knowledgeable and, like Dr. Chi, exceptionally in tune with what I was feeling and equally empathetic. I feel as though I won the lottery for the best pain doctor one would want.

I had. a teleconference with Dr. Chi when my first appointment in person had to be postponed. At that time we discused my issues about she asked clarifications etc. But now I saw her for my injection for pain and we did not speak a lot. I have had a number of injections over the years but she is the first to have found the core of the pain because i almost jumped off the table. It is only two days since my visit. I have no pain in the sciatics area now and am autiously optiistic thatthis maybe very successful. If so, she is the first to have found the exact spot from which the pain radiated. In which case, I would she is a fantastic listener and technician.

Dr. Chi was highly recommended by three specialists of Weill-Cornell Integrative Health and Wellness group--she did not disappoint. The experience was most positive with a wait time of less than ten minutes. As a post-chemo patient, Dr Chi was thorough and patient reviewing my chart and history. She listened and addressed my concerns--made recommendations and provided a plan for healing.
