Really dismissive, like many of the KP mental health staff. Told him I don't do well on Anti depressants (i've been on nearly a dozen ranging from no effect to dangerous side effects) and that I didn't think depression was even the correct diagnosis, (I came to him with ADHD concerns) but of course that's what he diagnosed and prescribed - and to check back in 3 months!!! Beyond useless. So of course I react badly to the meds and send him a message that I'm discontinuing them ASAP. You'd think that would be worth a follow up if a patient discontinues their meds, but no. Kaiser is great for physical health, but when it comes to mental health they are garbage. Steer clear.

I guess I can’t really complain since I see a social worker for talk therapy at KP. However, he’s one of those professionals that is probably knowledgeable in his field of study but just acts like he’s not. It makes sense he’s just focused narrowly on med management hence why he doesn’t understand my psychological well being. I do find some silver linings in him. One of them is the meds he gave me. Just wish he can show some more concern and empathy when there’s something wrong with meds or whatever.

He didn't very much understand what I was trying to say. I believe he had worked with several other patients that had problems like me, and was just a little bias. I can't blame him completely for this, but I feel like so far I have not gotten the help I need from him.

Kaiser Psychiatric department all together suck, I am usually not this angry , but I have been trying to get my son help for the past two years, getting appointments is pretty much impossible to get regular appointments, I have tried , I called the emergency hot line for help for my son on 6-6-2016 my son was threatening suicide and they told me they could not get him in, he is now at Radys children in the caps ,because his principle called it in thank god, but now the have to release him tomorr
