Dr. Weiss has been a trusted ophthalmologist for my family for years. It troubles me terribly to read negative reviews- especially regarding his character. He has cared for the health of our eyes compassionately, referred us to specialists and diagnosed hard to diagnose issues relating to autoimmune disorders. Beyond his competence, he is a truly upstanding, kind, patient and caring man. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my closest friends.

I assume he's at least a good technician. He's certainly NOT a healer. So, if you have any concerns, don't both asking him, his job is "...not to educate patients." A disgrace!

I think Dr. Weiss is competent, however I do not trust him because he makes patients come back multiple times to increase the amount he can bill Medicare. Medicare approved his charges of over $500 in 2017 for 4 separate appointments. I saw a different eye doctor in 2016 who did the exact same tests in one visit and Meducare approved $275. I believe Dr. Weiss is gaming the system to ear almost double of what other opthomologists earn while inconviencing hus customers.
