Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Wang "As a surgeon who often sees patients who have had previous spinal surgery, I choose to specialize in complex spinal disorders and their treatment. I understand that coming to see a doctor in the University setting is more time consuming and complicated, but patients travel from far away to get honest and definitive answers to their questions. Because the spectrum of procedures available is so diverse, coming to our practice allows the patient to have almost all options presented to them."

I tried and tried to get an appointment with Dr Wang, but because I saw one of his associates, that’s a no no. Ridiculous rule. I wound up going out of state from my fusion. I think the university of Miami should change that rule.

Dr. Wang performed a 4-level fusion on my brother Steve. My brother had a tough time but he is doing well. No spine operation is perfect but if you follow the doctor's advice and do your part, there is a good chance you will lead a healthy life.

Very Rude. Very arrogant. He maybe has a lot of experience, but he does NOT know how to treat a patient. I will never recommend a person like him to anyone. My suggestion: Take your time and find another doctor.

My family member was treated by Dr. Wang. I found him to be extremely arrogant, and somewhat irresponsible, and I would not recommend him to treat anyone I care about. I found this doctor to be unethical. He tells you what you want to hear to convince you to do the surgery, but when things goes...more

Dr. Wang is hands down the best surgeon ever. He saved my life and I am so appreciative. I recommend him to anyone who is in need of a neurosurgeon.
