I had LASIK w Dr. Vrabec last week. Words cannot describe how pleased I am w the procedure and that I could see immediately after the procedure. Several of my friends had LASIK w Dr. Vrabec and a former eye care physician also highly recommended him to me. Thank you to Dr. Vrabec and his staff! I would highly recommend Valley Eye for LASIK and all of your eye care needs.

I came to Valley Eye Associates with a severe eye infection. From my first visit with Dr. Unger to my recurring visits with Dr, Vrabec I have been treated with the utmost respect. I've seen several Dr's at Valley Eye and all are amazing. I am always greeted with a smile at reception and leave satisfied with my visit. My vision would not be what it is today without the knowledge of Dr. Vrabec and all the competent staff at all Valley Eye offices. I highly recommend them for all your vision needs.

Doctor Mark Austin, my regular eye doctor, referred me to Doctor Michael Vrabec at Valley Eye Associates because my condition (Fuchs Dystrophy) requires an experienced cornea specialist to restore my rapidly declining vision. Doctor Vrabec and his team led me through 4 surgeries from January through May 2019 (cataract surgery and partial cornea transplant for each eye). Doctor Vrabec and his team were very supportive, answering all my questions (and my wife's) throughout the entire journey. What they did was nothing short of amazing. Now I see better than when I was a young! I can't thank them enough.

The initial consultation was a bit cumbersome. I waited for nearly an hour to see the doctor. That being said, I had cataracts removed from both eyes. I have perfect 20/20 vision and now only need readers. I originally felt I wanted multifocal but Dr Vrabec didn’t feel it was a good fit as there is a higher probability of halo effect with night driving.

Arrogant. Inattentive. Uncaring. Cluster from beginning to end. Pre-op consult by staff. Surgery outcome poor. Wrong refraction, fuzziness, cloudiness, wrinkles in both lens, macular puckering. Refused to take responsibility for poor result. Was defensive, bullied me, passed blame to another doctor. Problems with documentation. Insurance coverage they pre-approved for me was denied. I'm facing lifelong vision consequences, stress and financial burden. No appearance that he truly cares at all.

I had cataracts removed with multi lenses placed 2yrs ago. Now I have constant blurry vision , worse than having cataracts . Big mistake, should have let the cataracts alone than spending money to make it worse

This is not on Vrabec but VEA's performance in advertising and on phone. It's here b/c Vrabec's is the top link on the page linked by VEA's Heathgrades "review us." If there's a competent doctor at VEA, s/he should be embarrassed and angry at such experience, let alone at first contact, as mine. I asked 2 staff simply to reconcile major advertising of "four convenient locations" and 5 specified on website, and got infantile misconduct and abuse. Let such a *clown* op cut on my *eyes*? AYKM?

I had to have cataracts removed so I thought I would have lasik also to get rid of contacts and glasses that I wore for 50 yrs! The surgery was painless and fast!! I now have 20 20 vision,no problems what so ever! I'm still in awe every morning when I open up my eyes and can see without finding my glasses! I never had this good of eyesight since I was 8 yrs old. Dr Vrabec did the surgerys, and Dr Novak was my eye Dr which I give 5 +stars to! Best eye Dr ever!!!

One of the lenses that he put in started coming off so had to go thru process of rescheduling and having lens replaced. In his attempt to remove he dropped lens and it fell to back of eye. I was sent to a specialist to have it removed and replaced as he was unable to do it. This caused much extra expense & pain. Very disappointed with his handling. He now has the moxie to charge for his failures.

Good things come to those who wait. You may have to wait to see Dr. Vrabec, both for an appointment and be prepared to wait once you arrive, because he spends the time to provide 1st class quality care with each and every patient. Dr. Vrabec is more than worth the wait(ing) and besides wishing he'd slow down for his own well-being, I can't thank him nor his staff enough for their commitment to my well-being and overall optimal level of optical health! Thank you for all that you do.

My husband got LASIK 2 yrs ago with Dr Vrabec. I've also had LASIK, I had a good experience and my eyes are fine. However, after paying another $4,000 for my husband to have it done, he regrets it. One of his eyes has been permanently blurry and extremely dry now. He takes prescrip eye drops with no relief, and we spent over $1K on a procedure that did nothing to help. He's talking about needing glasses! Dr Vrabec's office can't do anything to help. He didn't have this problem before.
