Extremely caring and very knowledgeable. Takes the time to explain things. Wish I would have found him sooner for my spine problem. Was lucky enough to meet one of his patients that he was able to help.

Dr Virk was late wich l didn't have a problem with as l believe a doctor should take the needed time with every patient, he explained to me in layman's terms what was going on with my neck and I was able to ask questions and had answers explained.

My wait time is always very short. Approx 15 minutes. The staff is very nice, patient and understanding. Dr. Virk always listens to me attentively and answers all of my questions. He did back surgery on me and I feel great! Thank God for Dr. Virk! He is a very good Dr.

Terrible experience, made me never want to see another doctor again. His staff claimed he would review my imaging before accepting me as a new patient. I sent in my imaging and was told he wanted to see me, but I first needed additional x-rays. A lot of effort was involved in my getting x-rays done and then going to see him. At the appointment, he said he had no idea why I was there, said I should see a neurologist, but refused to refer me to one. Arrogant, awful bedside manner, the opposite of helpful, very discouraging.

Dr Virk has become the local expert (at Weil-Cornell) for cervical myelopathy, with good reason. He and his team handled a complex workup, the surgery, and hospital encounters with efficiency, precision ( in this era of constant cost/risk/benefit analysis) , grace and humanity, all of which were duly appreciated.....

Dr. Virk is very professional and knowledgeable in his area yet keeps a sense of humility that makes you feel very comfortable. I can say from my own experience that he is an excellent surgeon. Extraordinary physician: he is Intelligent, passionate, understanding, talented, motivated, and personal. I had major back surgery, and after other choices, I am very happy and satisfied. Don't gamble with someone, just know he is the best.
