Dr. Smitherman has NO bedside manner what so ever. On my initial consultation he acted like I was lying to him on what medications I was on. I am 53 years old!! Not a child! I don't even want to go back for my follow up visit for the results of blood work, and Xrays. I have never encountered...Read More

I believe Dr. Smitherman is probably a good doctor with aging geriatric folks with normal aging problems such as arthritis. As a younger patient, with the not age normal issues, I was belittled and told to take anti-depressants. (Will anti-depressants help take away my fevers & mouth sores?)...Read More

Outstanding physician. Knows arthritis and joints. Helped me tremendously with acute knee pain pending a replacement. Was able to help pain although I was not able to take ibuprofen-type meds. Also, has an excellent office staff, each well suited for their role. I can't recommend this doctor...Read More
