I see some bad reviews about Dr Smith. He is one of the best doctors I have ever been to in my life. He is not good at getting back to you but if you call the office and bug them he will. I had an on going problem that 10 doctors in 5 years could not fix(A chronic cough)After several test he told me that I had non acid re flux and that I would need to see Dr Abbas to discuss surgery for the Nissan procedure. My cough stopped. Dr Smith is in route to Mt Sinai in NYC and I would travel theretosee

I would have give Dr. Smith zero stars if that was an option. Any doctor who does not return a patient's call (I called over 7 times in a two week period explaining my concerns to the receptionist), obviously doesn't care about their patient's welfare. I was diagnosed with a gastric inlet patch and after the surgery I still have reflux even worse than before. If you want a doctor who cares about his patients, he's not the guy for you!
