Dr. Shapiro has been wonderful. There are not many doctors that my husband trusts, (in fact he may be the only one) but he has complete faith in Dr. Shapiro. He takes his time with us and explains what needs to be done, although he is crazy busy, he still cares about his patients, which is sadly more rare these days. He is a gift to the medical field. If you are in need of his services, I cannot express enough that your search is over!

I am comfortable with Dr. Shapiro as a physician. However he will only see you for diagnostic purposes. For a consultation office visit with him, you have a 6 month wait. You may see his PA, Lena, in an appropriate timeframe but only Mondays thru Wednesdays. If you only routine consultations or annual colonoscopies, then you can afford the wait times. His Staff was nice the first time but subsequent contacts by phone, I found them to be very rude and overall just tried to get you off the phone

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
