Dr Schwartz performed surgery on both of my knees for meniscus tears and did a fantastic job several years ago. Both of my knees healed perfectly. Dr Schwartz also performed surgery on both of my wife’s shoulders for rotator cuff tears. Both of her shoulders healed beautifully and she has no problems now. Dr Schwartz is a great surgeon and I highly recommend him.

I injured my knee playing soccer - torn ACL and meniscus. Have not had the surgery yet, but Dr. Schwartz and his staff have been great to work with thus far. Easy to get an appointment, running on time so I could get back to work, good coordination with a reasonably-priced imaging facility, quick turn-around time and easy surgery scheduling. Dr. Schwartz answered all my questions and patiently waited, giving me time to think and consider the options presented, as did other members of the staff. I had prepped by going over things with an ortho friend in advance, and everything discussed aligned exactly. My only frustration was the overpriced, office-branded knee brace "sold" to me at my first appointment for $500. I could have gotten it elsewhere for $340, but didn't know that would be coming. That said, it was nice to leave the office with my knee much more stable, so no stars removed because the convenience is the trade-off. Planning to borrow post-surgery brace from a friend.

Very nice, seemed to listen well. Pushed for full knee replacement which caused me to get a 2nd opinion. The 2nd opinion conflicted and was not such a drastic measure. Will seek treatment with other orthopedic Dr.

I can’t believe these negative reviews for Dr Schwartz. My family has been seeing him for years and we have always had the best care. He is a medical expert in his field as well as being very thoughtful and instructive. His two PA’s are also very knowledgeable and are genuinely caring. In my opinion he gets an A+.

Saw Dr Schwartz after falling. Diagnosed that muscles in surrounding my left knee had weakened ordered an EMG test and physical therapy. Therapy helped but experienced thigh pain. Dr Schwartz did not order any additional tests. As happened fortunately while on vacation met retired Orthopedic surgeon. Asked whether I had an MRI. Had not. Was surprised. Recommend a doctor. New doctor ordered an MRI. Showed a spinal issue cord issue which doctor I had met also suspected. First treatment today.

I waited more than 1 hour to see the doctor and he spent less than 2 minutes with me. He wanted to charge me $370 for a brace/boot that I can buy on Amazon for less than $50. I don't know if there are still any ethical doctors out there but I still highly recommend against this one.

Dr. Schwartz inaccurately diagnosed my on-going knee problem. I needed to have a partial knee replacement and was told not to and to try an osteotomy on my knee instead. I had over 3 opinions on my knee before finding a doctor who correctly diagnosed and fixed my knee with the partial replacement I so desperately needed. I am a younger patient 37 and was told by Dr. Schwartz that a replacement would not help me. Here I am 4 years later in the best shape ever! No thanks to him!

I am extremely dissatisfied with the care I received from Dr. Schwartz. He spent a very short time with me and gave me no solution or care for my pain. He charges exorbitant prices and is more about turnover of patients than compassionate care. I would never recommend this doctor.

This skilled doctor has patched me up on more than one occasion, helped me regain my active lifestyle after injuries through the years, and is a credit to his craft. He explains things well, takes the time to answer my questions, and knows that I like to know the mechanics involved in my surgery and post op expectations. I'm an involved and informed patient and this is a good surgeon. My opinion is also based on other care that I received prior to coming under the care of Dr. Schwartz.
