Philosophy of care: It is important to me to offer each patient and family the same excellent care.. This means providing careful attention to the family's concerns and the child's needs and using my training and experience to provide the best care that I can offer. My experience over the years has given me the honor of meeting remarkable families who deal with great challenges.
Why I entered Medicine: Medicine allows me to combine an interest in science with an opportunity to help people. Neurology is endlessly fascinating and humbling in its mysteries and children are a joy to interact with.
Interests: headache, epilepsy, behavioral neurology
I have been practicing clinical pediatric neurology since completing training in pediatrics and neurology in 1979. I was part of a large clinical practice until 2007 when I was recruited to join the neurology department at Boston Children's Hospital.
