I have worked with Dr. Poiesz and have to say I am shocked on these reviews, he is to the point, but very honest. He spends time reviewing charts before he sees his patients. He is a great physician! You can ask him anything and he will explain it to you. He is extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to find other options for patients that no one else thought of. He is a physician. If records or something wasn't there maybe you should speak to the office manager.

Dr. Poiesz is an excellent and caring physician who went out of his way and spent a lot of time with me.

Dr. Poiesz was never invested in my husband's care or his life. He was unprepared for office visits and did not review my husband's blood work or films prior to meeting with us. He needed to be reminded that films that he ordered were done. Simply and tragically, he did not care. I firmly believe my husband would have lived longer if he was seen by another medical oncologist. I have no confidence in Dr. Poiesz and pray he becomes more dedicated to his patients and his profession.

Dr. Poiesz is such a caring doctor. He takes as much time as I need and never rushes me. I have sent many people to him.

I would not recommend Dr. Poiesz to anyone. My father was a patient of his and he did absolutely nothing for him and was not up front and honest with him or my mother at all! He appeared very unprofessional when I was in the office with them. He spent much more time discussing sports with my father than doing anything worthwhile for him. He never walked across the street from his office to see my father in the hospital when he was dying!!
