I have been seeing Dr. Piazza for over a year for stenosis of the spine. The pinched nerves in my lower back caused almost constant pain. I had steroid infections twice. The second time they didn't work at all. Surgery seemed to be the only answer. I had surgery two weeks ago and even though I am not completely healed yet, I believe the surgery was a huge success. Dr Piazza did a great job. He and his staff communicate with you all along the way. I am very satisfied with the care I received.

I went to Dr. Piazza to get a second opinion. I had been told I needed a spinal fusion. Dr. Piazza reviewed my MRI's and X-Rays thoroughly. He then told me my back was fusing naturally and since I was taking nothing for pain, he would not recommend the fusion as there are always possibilities the surgery won't give the desired results.I went for second opinion and found an honest Dr. that knows what he is doing,

I have been dealing with back pain and leg pain as well as neck pain for more than 4 years. A friend of mine told me to check this man. Wow is he a real miracle worker. I call him Dr. Michael Miracle, he not only has cured me but listened to all my woes about where things hurt. He gave me the first time which was 5 yrs ago a shot in my lower back when I fell in the back yard.. I thought it could have been when I slipped on the grass, and the shot really helped. I really like him.

This is the best doctor out there. Dr. Piazza did my laminectomy and my laminectomy repair. I couldn't have been more pleased with the way I was treated by him. He really cares and that is something that is hard to find in any doctor. Thank you Dr. Piazza for everything!

DR. Piazza replaced my left hip 13 years ago and just completed my right hip a month a go. I NEVER had a moment of pain or discomfort with either hip right after surgery or today. He is the GURU of hip replacements and the best Doctor in the in the state of Florida. I truly recommend him highly! Very sincerely, Phyllis S. Williams

Dr. Piazza and his entire team were welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient in providing care when I came to them for surgery after breaking my back. They worked hard to accommodate my schedule as I was from out of town and ensured that I was able to get home quickly. The surgery went great, and follow up was terrific.

Dr. Piazza has been treating me for several years for various arthritic problems. In February of 2015 he replaced my left knee joint. Full recovery time was the average six months. I now have recovered full flexibility, weight bearing, strength and mobility. I am extremely happy with the results. My op scar is barely visible. I plan to have my right knee replaced early next year. I trust Dr. Piazza 100%

i have had several visits with Dr Piazza in the last few years. He is a very kind, considerate and compassionate person. I had to have several ESI's ( epidural steroid injections ) and he explained them to me in a way that i understood and made me feel very comfortable in a procedure that i knew very little about. I was so happy that my pain was gone in a few days. He has a wonderful bed side manner and i will continue to go to him for all my back problems.

Dr. Piazza is the best thing that could have ever happened to me following my motorcycle accident. I was in constant pain that I thought would only get worse as I aged. Dr. Piazza preformed a minimally invasive spinal surgery that left me virtually pain free and with close to no sign of my small scar 2 years later. I have a never ending list of wonderful things to say about this doctor's skills, knowledge, and overall demeanor. Thank you, Dr. Piazza for helping my life return to normal!
in Clearwater, FL |
Dr. Piazza was very knowledgeable about my spinal condition after my accident. I appreciated how respectful Dr. Piazza was about my balance of medication and therapy during my recovery. He helped me recover and get back into the yoga studio! I still practice my recommended physical therapy at home. Dr. Piazza's clinic at Orthopaedic Specialties also has an amazing physical therapy department who taught me how to do exercises that I now do at home.
St Petersburg, FL |
Piazza is the absolute worst. HORRIBLE bedside manner. After 3 days of not being able to get out of my bed to even use the bathroom on my own I had to beg, borrow, and steal to get into the office to see him (this is after being a patient with him for 2 years). I waited 2.5 hours in the office in excruciating pain before he spoke to me. When he walked in his exact words were "I'm running two hours behind. Cut to the chase, what do you want?" I've only gotten worse, and he is just a jerk!
in Clearwater, FL |
His level of care in the way he spends time with you discussing the problem. His kind and wonderful bedside mannerisms, always makes you feel safe and secure about the upcoming procedures ! Yes I'll always highly recommend Dr. Piazza to family and friends!
in Seminole, FL |
