I fell off a ladder onto my concrete garage floor. I was fortunate to have met a doctor at WellNow urgent care who referred me to Dr. Parentis. The first time I met Dr. Parentis, I really liked him. I could tell that he cared. He informed me that I had a serious injury but said he could fix it. I had a tibial plateau fracture that involved reconstructive surgery - a plate and screws to secure the crack in the bone. From the very beginning, he set the expectation - the recovery would be long and I would need to be patient. Well he did fix it! And, the recovery was long. I couldn't even put weight on my leg for 8 weeks. At each follow up visit he genuinely listened to my thoughts and discouragement with my progress. Even though I was progressing as he said (and even doing better), he never diminished my feelings. We reviewed every x-ray together, and he explains everything in terms you can understand. His PA, Jen, has similar kind and caring traits. Love them!

I have been going to him for over 20 years for multiple reasons. Torn maniscis, torn patella tendon, knee replacement, and most recently a torn rotator cup surgery. Great Dr, Great Pa's, and staff.

Dr Parentis is a kind caring medical professional. He address your concerns and makes your feel cared about. I had broken my foot while at work and had told a friend whom had also foot issues I needed someone whom I could trust and keep me on my feet in the future. She gave Docs name and I'm so very grateful to her for doing so. 6 months after my surgery for my foot and I was walking all over Alaska and Seattle. Thanks to Dr Parentis knowledge and expertise. I thought my trip of life time was ruined, but no. I only feel some discomfort when the weather changes and that is to be expected when you crack a bone in half. His X-ray tech and reception staff are very kind and helpful. When I started with Dr Parentis and his staff, I wasn't clicking with his PA's and didn't care to be seen by a PA. I told Dr Parentis of my concerns and he addressed the issue. He didn't belittle his staff, but he made me feel that he understood

Ive had two different surgeries from Dr Parentis in the last year from a fall. I rolled my foot and twisted my knee then fell hard on my shoulder tearing rotator cuff. Dr Parentis had some extensive work replacing tendon and restructuring the arch, he was honest about recovery and results based on past patients. As far as the knee it was alot of scar tissue causing pain which he cleaned up and has healed well. His office staff is very responsive to the many calls ive had regarding physical therapy, surgery scheduling and follow up appts......Lenae was a godsend!

I had a life altering injury to my lower leg, ankle, and foot. To have a doctor who listened, was kind, had superb medical advice, was compassionate, and always reminded me that if I had any issues, all I had to do was call, was the biggest blessing. He took the time to explain everything. I always understood the risks to any procedure I was agreeing to. I needed numerous surgeries, but for each one I knew I was in the most capable hands. I have always believed other doctors would have done the bare minimum to help me, whereas Dr. Parentis went above and beyond to help me regain my active quality of life. His staff always went the extra mile for me as well. I had a few insurance issues that they always handled efficiently for me. If there was cause for me to see the doctor quickly, they always found a way to get me an appointment as soon as possible. As a team, they surpassed all my needs. I will never be able to put into words how grateful I am for Dr. Parentis and his team.

Dr. Parentis did a wonderful job fixing my foot. I only regret waiting so many years to have surgery. Prior to choosing him to perform the surgery I visited 3 other doctors for advice. Dr. Parentis immediately made me comfortable with my options and how he would attempt the surgery. While there is risk with any surgery, I had been in pain for almost 10 years and unable to walk without favoring that foot. Four months ago he did a major cleaning of the main joint of my big toe - and I am now back running a few days a week and walking without a limp. Expectations exceeded. Thank you.

Dr. Parents has given me my quality of life back! My knee was so bad that the pain couldn't be explained if you were not experiencing it yourself. My knee replacement has been just over 1 year ago. My range of motion is excellent and I can run in the yard with my granddaughters again! This is all because of the quality, dedicated and caring work from Dr. Parentis and his staff!

Dr. Parentis is a compassionate and very skilled physician/surgeon. I walked in his Orchard Park office in excruciating pain in my shoulder. I was unable to move it without crying out in pain. I was desperate for help. Upon examination and imaging done it was determined surgery would correct the problem. After surgery and several months of PT I regained complete painless mobility & strength back. I am very pleased with Dr Parentis and grateful for all he has done for me. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of his services.

Provider took his time and asked multiple questions . He did an exam and watched my gait . He gave multiple treatment options and had me research them and think about them before proceeding with treatment to be sure we picked the right one .He didn't push one treatment more than another.

I have been a patient of Dr. Parentis for a very long time. What I like about Dr. Parentis is his personal inter-interaction with his patients. He takes his time to let you know what your diagnosis curtails and what the next step my be to decrease your discomfort. There is no time limit during your visit with him.

Dr. Parentis has been My orthopedic surgeon for the past 15 years. I've never had a problem with him. He is one of the best doctors I've ever had. He takes his time and he listens to when I talk to him about what's going on with my ankle. He did a bostrom procedure on my right ankle in 2015. He's been giving me cortisone shots on and off for the past year and a half. They do help. But in all his professional manner is A+. I recommended my son to him for a rotator cuff tear. And he took excellent care of him. I could see the compassion that he has for his patients when he treats them. Thank you Dr parentes for everything that you have done for me. You are the best orthopedic surgeon and I will highly recommend you to anyone that needs orthopedic care.

I have been seeing Dr. Parentis since I was 36 years old, I'm 39 now. In that time he was the only Dr that didn't dismiss me because of my age and treated me for my condition. I had terrible arthritis and knee pain in both knees, cortisone shots helped until surgery was needed. I had a bilateral release, meniscus tears and arthritis cleaned out of both knees. He is a very good Dr, he always explained the next steps and put a plan in place for me. He was very thorough in calling and checking up after my surgery to see how I was feeling. His staff always treats me well. Dr Jennifer who assists him also does an amazing job with patients. Having this surgery was the best thing I could have done and I'm lucky to have a Dr that cared so much like him. I barely have any scars too! I highly recommend him.

Dr. Parentis is through, compassionate, professional, and a miracle worker. I had a complete and total rotator cuff tear. Dr. Parentis explained all my options, and when I decided on surgery he was very detailed on the procedure and what I would be experiencing. He called the evening after surgery to check in on me, and made frequent visits while I was in physical therapy to check my progress. less then a year later I have almost all my movement and strength back thanks to him. I would also like to thank Dawn the Physical Therapist for all her hard work and one on one attention. I couldn't have done it without both of them. I highly recommend them both and will use them in the future should the need arise.
